Deshaun Watson Day-To-Day With Rotator-Cuff Contusion
one year ago

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder) remains day-to-day on Tuesday with what sources are calling a rotator-cuff contusion. Watson was a surprise inactive in Week 4 against the Baltimore Ravens. He spent last week's bye resting and rehabbing, but he didn't practice on Monday and his status is up in the air for the Week 6 contest against the San Francisco 49ers. The good news is Watson did some throwing on Monday and he was reportedly medically cleared before being held out in Week 4. The 28-year-old signal-caller is playing at less than 100% and faces a terrible matchup this Sunday against the Niners, so fantasy managers should fade him as a QB1 play this week. If Watson sits out another game, the Browns are prepared to go with P.J. Walker under center over rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
