Deshaun Watson Could Miss Multiple More Games
one year ago

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder) has already been ruled out for his second straight game in Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers and could miss multiple more games with a right rotator-cuff contusion, according to a league source. Watson suffered the injury in the Week 3 win over the Tennessee Titans, and the injury is a deep contusion that presents or functions more like a strain. The 28-year-old signal-caller isn't going to play again until he's pain-free, so fantasy managers may want to expect him to miss more time beyond just this weekend. P.J. Walker is going to start this Sunday against the Niners, but if he struggles mightily, the Browns may want to turn back to rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson. As long as Watson remains out, it will be hard to trust offensive skill players like receiver Amari Cooper in fantasy.
