Derrick Henry Matches Season Averages
one year ago

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry (ankle) yielded rock-solid results in Week 9's 20-16 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, rushing 17 times for 75 yards and a touchdown with three catches for 27 yards. Responsible for 33 yards on a second-quarter drive, Henry would not be denied as he lunged toward the end zone for a two-yard touchdown to give the Titans a lead. Quarterback Will Levis got the ball out just in time for the 29-year-old power back to come down with 23-yard catch-and-run, which led to a Tennessee field goal during the third period. Henry was averaging 17.1 carries for 75.1 rushing yards (4.4 YPC) over seven games entering play, and that's exactly what fantasy managers were treated to on Thursday. The three-time Pro Bowler has a tough matchup against a stout Tampa Bay Buccaneers run defense on Nov. 12, but he could warrant volume-based RB1 treatment with four of the league's top offenses on a Week 10 bye.
