Derek Carr's Shoulder Injury Not Serious

New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr (shoulder) exited the Week 10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings due to a shoulder injury and was replaced by Jameis Winston. Carr has not missed a game this season, but he did suffer a significant shoulder injury in Week 3 against the Green Bay Packers. However, head coach Dennis Allen said Carr's shoulder "checked out fine," according to Katherine Terrell of ESPN. Luckily, he'll have extra time to recover since the Saints are on a bye in Week 11. The Saints are sitting at 5-5 and have an important game against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 12 that could shape the NFC South playoff race.
