Denzel Perryman's Suspension Reduced To Two Games
12 months ago

Houston Texans linebacker Denzel Perryman's three-game suspension for repeated violations of player-safety rules was reduced upon appeal to two games by the NFL on Wednesday. Perryman will now miss this weekend's game against the Arizona Cardinals and Week 12 against the Jacksonville Jaguars and will be eligible to return to the active roster on Nov. 27. His suspension came after a helmet-to-helmet hit on Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase in the Week 10 win. Perryman was flagged for unnecessary roughness on the play. The 30-year-old is second on the team with 41 tackles in his first year in Houston, so they'll be missing a big part of their defense the next two games.
