Demario Douglas Leads Team With Five Catches
one year ago

New England Patriots wide receiver Demario Douglas hauled in five of seven targets for 25 yards during Sunday's loss to the Miami Dolphins. The rookie led the team in targets and catches, though his yardage ranked fourth on the squad. Douglas' big game coincided with a mid-game injury to Kendrick Bourne (knee) that could be serious. If Bourne misses extended time, Douglas would climb up the depth chart potentially to the No. 1 receiver role if Bill Belichick continues to deploy him over DeVante Parker and JuJu Smith-Schuster. At this point, fantasy managers can justify adding Douglas to the end of their bench when waivers run before Week 9.
