He seemed to be the preferred option over veteran DeVante Parker while operating as the No. 2 receiver behind Kendrick Bourne. It's unclear what Douglas' exact role will be in Week 8, but one would have to imagine that he earned the trust of Mac Jones and the coaching staff following a strong Week 7.
