Demario Douglas Could Have Key Role Versus Miami
one year ago

New England Patriots wide receiver Demario Douglas should continue to play a significant role in the team's offensive approach on Sunday versus the Miami Dolphins. The rookie had his best game yet in Week 7, posting season-highs in catches (four), yards (54), and snap share (62 percent). He seemed to be the preferred option over veteran DeVante Parker while operating as the No. 2 receiver behind Kendrick Bourne. It's unclear what Douglas' exact role will be in Week 8, but one would have to imagine that he earned the trust of Mac Jones and the coaching staff following a strong Week 7. If the Liberty product can continue to deliver solid production versus the Dolphins, he should start to generate appeal as a potential waiver wire addition.
