Demario Douglas Clears Concussion Protocol, Will Be Available
11 months ago

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said that rookie wide receiver Demario Douglas (concussion) has cleared the league's concussion protocol and will be available to play in Week 15 against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. It remains to be seen if Douglas will be questionable or if he'll be removed from the final injury report entirely on Friday, but either way, it looks like he has a good shot to play after missing the last two games with a head injury. Before his concussion, the 23-year-old rookie was acting as the top target through the air, albeit back when quarterback Mac Jones was still running the offense. Still, the sixth-rounder should return to a solid role in the passing game, although he'll be a pretty risky flex option in deeper leagues in his first game back against a capable defense. Douglas is averaging 53.4 receiving yards a game in his last five contests.
