Deebo Samuel's X-Rays Come Back Negative
one year ago

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel (shoulder) appears to have avoided a bone fracture. According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, Samuel's X-rays came back negative. The next step will be an MRI exam, but the Niners believe Samuel "will be fine" after getting hurt in the Week 6 loss to the Cleveland Browns. It's not considered a serious injury. The talented receiver will undergo an MRI soon to pinpoint his exact diagnosis. The 27-year-old will have one week to get healthy before the 49ers face the Vikings in Week 7. If Samuel can't suit up for that game, Jauan Jennings would likely operate as the Niners' No. 3 target behind Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle.
