Deebo Samuel Dealing With Sprained Neck

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel (neck) is dealing with a sprained neck and was limited in the team's first practice on Wednesday. Samuel, along with several other Niners players, was injured in the Monday night loss to the Baltimore Ravens and could be questionable to play in Week 17 in an excellent matchup against the Washington Commanders. The 27-year-old cooled off a bit in Week 16 with only four catches on a season-high-tying 12 targets for 47 yards after scoring seven total touchdowns (five receiving, two rushing) the previous three games. We'll keep a close eye on Samuel's progress the rest of the week, but if he ends up suiting up, he'll have clear WR1 upside against a very friendly secondary.
