Dawson Knox Doesn't Capitalize On Expanded Role
one year ago

Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox (wrist) did not take much advantage of first-round rookie Dalton Kincaid's (concussion) absence, catching three balls for 17 yards in Week 6's dramatic 14-9 win over the New York Giants. Knox failed to haul in either of his two first-half passes, but provided those who streamed him with his second straight three-catch, 17-yard showing. Third-stringer Quintin Morris happened to be the recipient of quarterback Josh Allen's fourth-quarter touchdown to a Bills TE. Knox tried to reel in a potentially game-ending catch late in the fourth quarter on third down, but the throw was a bit low. The 2022 Pro Bowler's snap count is set to regress with Kincaid figuring to receive clearance by the time next Sunday comes. Knox should be a barely-there TE2 against the New England Patriots in Week 7.
