David Njoku Not Practicing Wednesday
one year ago

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) is not practicing with the team on Wednesday. It was an ankle injury that kept Njoku out of practice early last week, but he ultimately played in the Week 9 win over the Arizona Cardinals and caught four of six targets for 26 yards and had his second straight game with a touchdown. Nevertheless, the 27-year-old's status is worth watching this week with a new injury listed, but it's more likely that the Browns are just resting him ahead of a Week 10 date with the division-rival Baltimore Ravens. Njoku should be able to play this Sunday as long as he returns to practice later this week. If for some reason he's out or limited against Baltimore, Harrison Bryant would see a boost in playing time for the Browns. Njoku has been a touchdown-dependent, low-end TE1 in fantasy.
