David Njoku Back At Practice Thursday
one year ago

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) was a limited practice participant on Thursday, per Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram. Njoku is dealing with a knee injury that cost him Wednesday's session, but a return to limited participation Thursday puts him tentatively on track to play Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. The former first-round pick has been a big fantasy disappointment in 2023, amassing 24 receptions on 31 targets for 216 scoreless yards. Njoku looks like a bit of a Week 8 fade without starting quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder) against a Seahawks defense giving up the fifth-least half-PPR fantasy points to his position and with no teams on bye. Though, the 27-year-old tallied season highs in targets (nine) and yards (54) last Sunday. Harrison Bryant would take over as Cleveland's featured tight end if Njoku cannot go.
