David Carr Disappoints In Week 3

New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr managed just 142 passing yards in their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. He completed 14 of his 25 pass attempts throwing one touchdown and one interception in the game. Several of Carr's throws were off the mark and he looked to be throwing off his back foot frequently while under heavy pressure from Philadelphia's unrelenting pass rush. The shakiness in the pocket was likely due to the fact that the Saints' starting center, Erik McCoy (groin), left the game after just three plays requiring some of the offensive line to play out of position. Carr finally hit paydirt when he hit Chris Olave with a 12-yard touchdown pass to put the Saints ahead with two minutes left in the game. After the Eagles answered back, Carr's attempt at a comeback was nixed after a deep shot to Rashid Shaheed was picked off. Next week, Carr will look to rebound against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 4.
