Davante Adams Looking To Bounce Back Against Bears
one year ago

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams caught two of five targets for 29 yards in the win against the New England Patriots in Week 6. The Raiders superstar wide receiver has seen five or fewer targets in back-to-back weeks and totaled less than 80 receiving yards in that span. Earlier this week, Adams voiced his displeasure with the state of the offense and his involvement on the team. The perennial All-Pro stated his frustrations, and there should be a concerted effort to get him more involved moving forward. The veteran wide receiver has been dealing with a shoulder injury since the Week 4 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers and was on the injury report earlier this week. Adams had a limited practice on Wednesday before practicing fully on Thursday. The superstar receiver is now off the injury report ahead of the game. The Raiders face the Chicago Bears on Sunday, and there is almost no better opportunity to get Adams more involved. The Bears have allowed the third-most passing yards and second-most passing touchdowns on the third-most yards per attempt. Adams should be able to carve up the Bears secondary and come away with his fourth score of the year. Despite being with Raiders starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, Adams should still be able to produce with veteran Brian Hoyer behind center. Adams is a strong WR1 in Week 7 against the Bears.
