Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams had one reception for 11 yards on seven targets in the 26-14 loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 8. Despite being vocal about his frustrations with the offense, things did not improve for the team. Adams led the team in targets but had a team-low 11 receiving yards. It is unclear how things will improve if significant changes are not made. Adams is not thriving in this offensive system despite his apparent talent. The Raiders face the New York Giants in Week 9. The Giants have the eighth-lowest PFF grade for defensive coverage against receivers, so it should be a good matchup for Adams next week. Fantasy managers have been disappointed with the production from Adams, but it is difficult to suggest benching him because of his talent.
