Darren Waller Remains A TE1 Despite Subpar Play
one year ago

New York Giants tight end Darren Waller has only scored double digits in PPR formats in two out of six games but he's still ranked as the TE11 this season. The Giants' passing game is among the worst in the NFL and Waller is struggling because of it. The veteran faces a Washington defense that ranked among the best units against tight ends until surrendering touchdowns to both Kyle Pitts and Jonnu Smith in Week 6. Waller hopes he can also find the end zone, which would be his first score of the season. The Giants haven't scored an offensive touchdown in three weeks so the odds aren't in his favor. Still, fantasy managers can start Waller with confidence in Week 7.
