Darren Waller Posts Season Highs In Receptions, Yards
one year ago

New York Giants tight end Darren Waller put together his best performance of the season in the team's Week 5 loss to the Miami Dolphins. The former Pro Bowler caught eight of his 11 targets for 86 yards, all of which were his best marks of the season. The Giants' offensive issues continued on Sunday. Daniel Jones (neck) was sacked six more times, which ultimately forced him out of the game with a neck injury. Little help was provided from the running game with starter Saquon Barkley (ankle) sitting out a third straight game. With their offensive woes, Waller hasn't found the endzone through five weeks. He'll have his next chance to do that on Sunday Night Football in Buffalo in Week 6.
