Darren Waller Fully Expects To Play
one year ago

New York Giants tight end Darren Waller (groin) said earlier this week that he fully expects to play on Sunday Night Football in Week 6 in Buffalo against the Bills. ESPN New York's Jordan Raanan doesn't think anything has changed on that front despite the fact Waller is listed as questionable for the game. Waller missed practice on Wednesday and was limited on Thursday and Friday, for what it's worth. The 31-year-old should suit up, but the problem this week is that quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) is out and backup Tyrod Taylor will be under center behind the worst offensive line in the NFL. Waller could end up getting peppered with targets as Taylor's safety blanket, but it's still very hard to trust Waller as a strong TE1 option this week.
