Darren Waller Back At Practice Thursday
one year ago

New York Giants tight end Darren Waller (groin) will take part in practice on Thursday, according to head coach Brian Daboll. Waller was rested with a groin injury in practice on Wednesday, and Waller said all along that was the plan before he was scheduled to return to the practice field on Thursday and Friday. It all points to the 31-year-old being ready to play by Sunday night in a tough matchup against the Bills on the road in Buffalo. Waller had his best game of the year in his first year in New York in the Week 5 loss to the Miami Dolphins, catching a season-high eight passes on 11 targets for a season-high 86 yards. If quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) doesn't play in Week 6, though, Waller will be a fade candidate against Buffalo. UPDATE: Waller was officially limited Thursday.
