Darnell Savage To Miss Multiple Games
one year ago

Green Bay Packers safety Darnell Savage (calf) will miss multiple games after aggravating his calf injury in the Week 7 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday, according to a source. Savage first sustained the injury in the Oct. 9 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. He left in the second quarter and could wind up on Injured Reserve, which would keep him out at least four games. The Packers also lost defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt (knee) and cornerback Eric Stokes (hamstring) in the loss to the Broncos. Green Bay was already without cornerback Jaire Alexander (back) and linebacker De'Vondre Campbell (ankle). Their defense could be pretty short-handed for a Week 8 divisional clash at home this Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.
