Darnell Mooney Looks To Get On Track In Week 9
one year ago

Chicago Bears wide receiver Darnell Mooney is coming off the highest snap percentage he's played all season, with an 85% snap count in the 30-13 loss to the Chargers. Despite starting strong with a 41-yard reception, that was the extent of his production, finishing the game with just one catch for 41 yards on four targets. For the second-straight game, the Bears attempted to involve Mooney in the run game, but he has only two carries this year for a total of five yards. The Saints are in the middle of the pack in points allowed per game to wide receivers this season, but the 26-year-old has only had one game with double-digit PPR points. With starter Justin Fields (thumb) sidelined once again, the Bears' passing attack is limited with rookie backup Tyson Bagent. It's advisable to keep Mooney on benches this week.
