Darnell Mooney Has Something To Prove In Week 1

Chicago Bears wide receiver Darnell Mooney has plenty to prove as the team prepares to play the Packers in Week 1. Ankle surgery sidelined Mooney for the second half of last season and most of the offseason. He returned healthy in time for the start of training camp but it will be intriguing to see how effective he can be right out of the gate. Mooney will be entering a contract year and has shown in the past to represent solid WR2/3 value in the Bears offense. Mooney will carry WR5/6 value into Week 1 as he will have to also compete for targets with newly acquired star receiver D.J. Moore.
