Darius Slayton Remains a Boom/Bust Option In Week 17

New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton, fresh off one of his best games of the 2023 campaign, draws the Los Angeles Rams at home in Week 17. The matchup isn't anything to worry about, but the inconsistent play is. Despite being the Giants' leading receiver this season, the veteran has logged double-digit PPR points in just four games. Quarterback play has been largely to blame and the Giants don't score enough (14.3 points per game) to support a noteworthy wide receiver. Slayton has taken advantage of soft secondaries (Washington and Philadelphia) in recent weeks, but depending on a long touchdown that rarely comes isn't a smart strategy for the fantasy playoffs.
