Daniel Jones Wants To Get Darren Waller More Involved
one year ago

In training camp, it was clear that New York Giants tight end Darren Waller would be quarterback Daniel Jones' favorite target this year. However, Waller and the team's offense has struggled through four weeks, and Waller hasn't reached 30 receiving yards in either of the last two games. Waller has still been Jones' top target, but he has a disappointing 15 catches (23 targets) for 153 yards and no touchdowns through four games. "I think it's important [he's a bigger part of offense]," Jones said. "He's a talented player and poses a big threat for defenses. I have to do a better job of finding him and getting him the ball." Waller's production should pick up as long as he stays healthy and the Giants offense settles in. They currently rank last in the NFL with 11.5 points per game.
