Daniel Jones Ruled Out In Week 9
one year ago

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (knee) won't return to Sunday's game against the Raiders. The veteran signal-caller, who returned for this one after missing time with a neck issue, appeared to suffer a non-contact knee injury. However, the Giants haven't released any more information, so Jones may be undergoing extensive testing to determine the severity of the injury. With Tyrod Taylor (ribs) on injured reserve, the Giants hope Jones can play in Week 10 versus the Dallas Cowboys. Unfortunately, things aren't looking good, meaning Tommy Devito would be under center. But given DeVito's struggles, New York may look for alternate options. Either way, the situation isn't ideal for any of the Giants' pass-catchers. It's also not welcome news for Saquon Barkley, with the oft-injured running back in line to get more touches potentially.
