Daniel Jones Missing Another Practice
one year ago

New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll said that quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) will miss his second straight practice this week on Thursday. At the beginning of the week, the Giants said they were optimistic about Jones' chances of suiting up on Sunday Night Football against the Buffalo Bills. But after two straight missed practices this week, the 26-year-old signal-caller is looking unlikely to play after injuring his neck in the Week 5 loss to the Miami Dolphins. If Jones doesn't get the green light this weekend, veteran Tyrod Taylor would start under center for the G-Men. Running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) is also up in the air after not playing since Week 2 due to a high-ankle sprain. The Giants offense could be in for another rough outing against a strong Bills defense in Week 6.
