Daniel Jones Has A Chance To Play In Week 7
one year ago

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) has already been ruled out for Sunday night's game against the Buffalo Bills in Week 6, but it sounds like he has a legitimate chance to play in Week 7 against the Washington Commanders. Jones' neck injury is unrelated to a previous neck injury that was much more serious. The Giants are being very cautious, which is why he was held out of practice this week and won't play against Buffalo. Whether he plays next week against Washington will come down to how he feels and how much he can do in practice next week. The matchup will be a nice one against the Commanders, but New York's offensive line has been so bad that they haven't really given Jones or the Giants offense much of a chance so far in 2023. Tyrod Taylor is making the start under center against the Bills in Week 6.
