Daniel Jones Feeling Better, Hoping To Play In Week 7
one year ago

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) said he feels a lot better and is "doing everything I can" to play in Week 7 against the Washington Commanders. The Giants held Jones out of practice all of last week and he didn't play in the Sunday night loss to the Buffalo Bills after injuring his neck in Week 5. The Giants aren't going to rush the 26-year-old signal-caller back, but his neck injury isn't the same as the previous neck injury that Jones dealt with a year ago. Fantasy managers will have a better idea of whether he'll have a chance to play against Washington once the Giants release their first injury report of the week on Wednesday. Tyrod Taylor, who almost pulled an unlikely upset over the Bills on Sunday night, would make another start if Jones isn't cleared for Week 7.
