Daniel Jones Facing 8-10 Months Of Recovery Following Surgery
12 months ago

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (knee) had successful surgery on Wednesday to fix a torn ACL in his right knee and is now facing eight to 10 months of recovery. The surgery was performed by team physician Dr. Scott Rodeo in New York. Jones' recovery timetable will take him right up to the start of training camp next summer. The 26-year-old's season didn't go as planned after signing a four-year, $160 million deal earlier in the year, and he's due another $35.5 million in guaranteed pay in 2024. Jones had just two touchdowns and six interceptions in six games while being sacked 30 times, and he also missed some time with a neck injury. The G-Men will be hoping he can bounce back in 2024 after a career-best campaign in 2022, although he may never be more than a low-upside QB2 in fantasy. Rookie Tommy Devito will continue to lead the Giants offense moving forward.
