Daniel Jones Dealing With New Neck Injury
one year ago

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) said the neck injury he suffered in the Week 5 loss to the Miami Dolphins is different than the neck injury he dealt with in the past. Jones said he's feeling better and will continue to get treatment as he looks to be available for the Week 6 contest against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football. There is optimism surrounding the 26-year-old signal-caller's injury, but we'll have a better idea of his Week 6 status after the G-Men release a couple official injury reports later this week. Even if Jones is able to play, he's hard to trust as a QB1 in fantasy lineups behind the Giants' terrible and banged up offensive line, and the team could be without star running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) yet again. If Jones is unable to get the green light, Tyrod Taylor would make his first start of 2023.
