Daniel Carlson Limited By Groin Ailment
one year ago

Las Vegas Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson (groin) was listed as limited in Wednesday's practice due to a right-groin injury. Carlson was in danger of missing the Monday night game against the Detroit Lions in Week 8, but he ultimately suited up. The 28-year-old booter wasn't afforded a field-goal try and made both of his extra points in the 26-14 loss to Detroit. Barring a setback with his groin this week, Carlson should be active in Week 9 to face the New York Giants. Since Monday night, the Raiders shook things up by firing head coach Josh McDaniels, general manager Dave Ziegler and offensive coordinator Mick Lombardi. They are also benching quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo in favor of rookie Aidan O'Connell. It all adds up to Carlson being a fantasy kicker to avoid for the foreseeable future.
