Houston Texans running back Dameon Pierce continued to struggle in the team's 30-6 loss against the New York Jets in Week 14. Pierce ran just four times for nine yards in the contest as Devin Singletary took over Houston's backfield once again. Singletary totaled more carries (13) and rush yards (65) in the game. The veteran also got the team's lone goal-line carry, which resulted in a touchdown. Pierce has had a rough second season in the NFL and appears to be the Texans' backup at the moment.
