Dameon Pierce Not Practicing Wednesday

Houston Texans running back Dameon Pierce (ankle) is still absent from practice on Wednesday. Pierce is off to a bad start this week after already missing the last two games with an ankle injury. The 23-year-old is going to need to return to practice later this week to have a shot at suiting up in Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals. And even if Pierce does return this weekend, his workload could be scaled back after Devin Singletary went off for 150 rushing yards in the surprising Week 10 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Pierce has been a big disappointment in his second NFL season in 2023, averaging just 3.0 yards per carry on 109 rushing attempts for 327 yards and one touchdown in seven games played.
