Dameon Pierce Misses Another Practice Thursday

Houston Texans running back Dameon Pierce (ankle) remained sidelined at practice for the second straight day on Thursday. After sitting out the Week 9 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the 23-year-old second-year back isn't looking good to be able to play this Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals on the road. He will need to get in some work on Friday to have a shot at suiting up. Fantasy managers should have already been preparing as if Pierce will miss his second straight game. With Pierce out last week, Devin Singletary was Houston's lead back, but he didn't take advantage of the opportunity in a game where rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud did all the heavy lifting in the comeback win over Tampa. Singletary had a season-high 13 carries for just 26 yards and caught both of his targets for no gain.
