Dalvin Cook Looking Faster
one year ago

New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said that running back Dalvin Cook has been looking better at practices. "He's coming along ... he's still getting his legs underneath him. I'm sure he wants more, I'm sure he wants more production. He's getting faster, his GPS numbers are showing ... we just need to find those guys a little more opportunity," Saleh said. The Jets want to get more touches for the backfield, but Cook hasn't really deserved more work after averaging 2.5 yards per carry on 30 rushing attempts for 74 yards through his first four games. The Jets won't limit Breece Hall's (knee) workload anymore, either, so that's probably going to be mean fewer touches for Cook on a weekly basis. The 28-year-old has a good matchup in Week 5 against the Denver Broncos, but it's become hard to trust Cook as an RB3/flex option in fantasy lineups.
