Dalton Schultz Downgraded At Thursday's Practice
12 months ago

Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz (hamstring) kicked off practice preparations in Week 14 with a limited practice on Wednesday but was then downgraded to a non-participant on Thursday. It's unclear if the Texans were simply resting Schultz after he didn't play in the Week 13 win over the Denver Broncos or if he's truly in danger of missing his second straight game this weekend against the New York Jets. We'll have a better idea of the 27-year-old's status on Friday, but fantasy managers hoping to start him this week should already have a backup plan in place. Brevin Jordan is preparing to start in Week 14 just in case Schultz cannot go. In last week's win over Denver, Jordan had three catches for a season-high 64 yards on five targets.
