Dalton Kincaid Still Only A TE2 In Week 7
one year ago

Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid (concussion) has cleared concussion protocol in time for Week 7's matchup with the New England Patriots. Kincaid has failed to stand out in Year 1, virtually canceling out with veteran Dawson Knox in terms of playing time and production. The 24-year-old's snap share has fallen in each of his first five contests, insinuating he's having a difficult time adjusting to NFL competition. Kincaid's best fantasy score to date was five-catch, 43-yard Week 2 display, and he's yet to surpass full-PPR double figures in any game this year. Working regularly out of the slot, the first-round rookie's 6.9 yards per reception keep him stuck in TE2 territory on Sunday. The Patriots defense has also given up the eighth-fewest average fantasy points out of the slot (9.4) in 2023, per Razzball. Kincaid's redraft value as a stash is also starting to dissipate, but it's not as if Knox has been any better.
