Dalton Kincaid Remains TE2 Stash Despite Plus Draw
one year ago

The Buffalo Bills are yet to utilize tight end Dalton Kincaid's field-stretching proficiency through the year's initial four games. Kincaid's diminutive 3.0 average yards of target distance certainly offer very little fantasy potential. It appears the rookie may have pulled away a bit in the positional battle with Dawson Knox after out-producing the veteran in Week 4 with a 4/27 receiving line to the latter's 1/12. However, Kincaid and Knox remain stuck in a dead-even timeshare and Kincaid's snaps have troublingly declined in each of the squad's first four games in part due to three blowout setups. Until the 2023 first-rounder's role expands out of the slot, Kincaid is a tough sell as a top-12 option despite the utterly arid positional climate around the gridiron. Working in his favor, at least, is a Week 5 matchup with a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that's been spiked for the second-highest fantasy points per game (16.78) to TEs this year.
