Dalton Kincaid Remains On TE1 Radar Against Cowboys
11 months ago

Some fantasy managers may be ready to recklessly hit the eject button on Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid (thumb/shoulder). 2022 Pro Bowler Dawson Knox returned in Week 14 from a five-game absence, and Kincaid put up his worst fantasy effort since early October. But before we panic, Kincaid may not have a mutually exclusive relationship with Knox. Though Kincaid's catches (five) and yards (21) were the lowest in his last eight games, the 2023 first-round pick's role remained steady, taking 83.8% of Buffalo's offensive snaps and a 93.3% route rate. Kincaid also saw the two red-zone targets that went TEs last Sunday, and his air yards -- though meager -- remained intact at 38, which is right around his norm. While there's always a chance that Kincaid's upside deteriorates as Knox works his way back to speed from wrist surgery, the 24-year-old is a safe, if low-end TE1 for Week 15 against the Dallas Cowboys.
