Dalton Kincaid Lives Up To Week 8 Hype
one year ago

Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid looked like a rising star during Week 8's 24-18 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, hauling in five of his seven targets for 65 yards and a touchdown. Kincaid could have had an even bigger night but was tackled just short of the end zone on a Josh Allen shovel pass before being the intended target on a second-quarter fourth-and-goal incompletion. But the first-round rookie hooked in a 22-yard touchdown with his quarterback on the run, racing to the end zone for his first career score. With not only Dawson Knox (wrist, IR) inactive but also third-stringer Quintin Morris (ankle) shelved, Kincaid was utilized inside and out on Thursday and built on his successful Week 7 display. The 24-year-old has an exciting run of favorable matchups, starting in next Sunday night's showdown against the Cincinnati Bengals. With several top TEs on a Week 9 bye, Kincaid could swiftly make his way into the top eight.
