Dallas Goedert May Not Miss More Than Three Weeks
12 months ago

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said he has "high hopes" that tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm) won't miss more than three weeks. "There's a reason he's not on Injured Reserve yet," Sirianni said. Goedert fractured his forearm in Week 9 and the Eagles were on bye in Week 10. The 28-year-old will miss his first game with the injury on Monday night when the team faces the Kansas City Chiefs in a Super Bowl rematch. He probably won't be able to return in Week 12 against the Buffalo Bills, either, but there's a chance Philly will have him available again in Week 13 in a showdown against the San Francisco 49ers. Until then, the Eagles will likely use some combination of Jack Stoll and Albert Okwuegbunam at the position.
