D'Andre Swift Salvages Day With Late Touchdown Run
one year ago

Philadelphia Eagles running back D'Andre Swift took 16 carries for 57 yards and a touchdown, adding two receptions for seven yards during the team's 38-31 win over the Washington Commanders. Washington held the 24-year-old in check for the majority of the contest, keeping Swift under four yards per carry for just the third time all season. However, on a terrific trick play late in the game, the former Detroit Lion took a pitch out of the "Brotherly Shove" formation and found his way into the end zone. This was not the best fantasy performance for the Eagles starting running back, but the touchdown will undoubtedly help keep him ranked as a clear RB2 moving forward. He will face a stiff Dallas defense next week in the divisional showdown.
