Curtis Samuel Won't Play In Week 9
one year ago

The Washington Commanders officially have ruled out wide receiver Curtis Samuel (toe) for the Week 9 contest this Sunday against the New England Patriots. Samuel injured his toe in the Week 8 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and will now miss this weekend's action. Both Jahan Dotson and veteran Jamison Crowder had big games in the 38-31 loss last week to the Eagles and will be in line for bigger roles once again behind Terry McLaurin this Sunday with Samuel officially out. Dotson was slow to get going in his second NFL season, but he's much more intriguing now and will have more fantasy upside than Crowder for those looking for streaming options at the position in Week 9. Crowder had 95 receiving yards and a touchdown last week against the Eagles.
