Curtis Samuel Will Play Against Broncos
one year ago

Washington Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel (hip) was limited in Friday's practice but was taken off the final injury report and will play on Sunday in Denver against the Broncos. Samuel was limited during the practice week, but his injury is minor and he will be out there in three-wide sets for Washington alongside Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson against a tough defense. The 27-year-old veteran had a team-high 54 receiving yards on five looks from quarterback Sam Howell in the Week 1 win over the Arizona Cardinals, but he'll likely take a step back in the second week of the regular season. Samuel is going to remain involved in the Commanders' passing attack as long as he stays healthy, but he'll have a low weekly ceiling and floor for fantasy managers as long as both McLaurin and Dotson are healthy.
