Curtis Samuel Still Managing Toe Injury

Washington Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel (toe) was once again limited in Wednesday's practice with a toe injury that has been bothering him for several weeks. Samuel's toe injury caused him to miss Week 9. The 27-year-old was questionable heading into the Week 10 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, but he suited up and played 51 percent of the offensive snaps on his way to just two catches for six yards on six targets. While Samuel should play again this Sunday against the New York Giants, he may be at less than 100 percent and should be considered a shaky WR4/5 option in deeper fantasy leagues. Samuel has been outside the top 50 in average half-PPR points per game in 2023.
