Curtis Samuel Misses Wednesday With Toe Injury
one year ago

Washington Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel (toe) did not practice on Wednesday. Samuel left his team's Week 8 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles with a toe/foot injury and did not return as he ultimately wound up playing on just 19% of the offensive snaps. Samuel's inability to take the field for practice on Wednesday is not a great sign for his Week 9 availability as the Commanders gear up for a matchup against the New England Patriots. Stay tuned to practice reports for the remainder of the week as Samuel will probably need to practice in some capacity by Friday in order to suit up in Week 9. If he doesn't take the field, Jamison Crowder will see an uptick in snaps as he did in Week 8.
