Cordarrelle Patterson Goes Over 50 Yards
one year ago

Atlanta Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson saw an increased role during Sunday's Week 7 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The veteran back was the primary backup to Tyler Allgeier during this game. It's worth noting that the increase in snaps for Patterson was because starting back Bijan Robinson (illness) was sidelined. Patterson took advantage of that with 56 yards on 10 carries in the win. It was a nice outing for him, but the expectation is that he'll go back to being the third back next week. That means, Patterson is unlikely to have much of a role in Week 8.
