Commanders Request Interviews With Ben Johnson, Aaron Glenn, Others
11 months ago

The Washington Commanders aren't wasting any time looking for a replacement after firing head coach Ron Rivera on Monday. They've already requested interviews with Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, according to sources, in addition to Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris, Baltimore Ravens associate head coach and defensive line coach Anthony Weaver and Ravens defensive coordinator Mike MacDonald. In addition to those names, sources say the Commanders are also interested in Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh and have reached out to his agent, Don Yee. Commanders owner Josh Harris hired former Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers and former Minnesota Vikings GM Rick Spielman to spearhead the team's search for a new coaching staff.
