Colts Defense Produces Some Big Plays Despite Loss
one year ago

The Indianapolis Colts defense recorded two sacks, an interception, and a fumble recovery for a touchdown, but allowed 31 points in Sunday's 31-20 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Two-time Pro Bowl nose tackle DeForest Buckner earned the hat trick during the third quarter, swallowing up Trevor Lawrence for a strip sack before a fortuitous bounce on the live ball saw him rumble to the end zone for a fumble-six. Tony Brown also picked off Lawrence on Jacksonville's first drive of the second quarter on a tipped pass off Tank Bigsby's hands. Indy's D will carry some streamer appeal against rookie C.J. Stroud, who was sacked five times on Sunday, and the Texans in Houston during Week 2.
